2015 Christmas Card Series – Card No 4

Hi friends!
I’m back today with a card that I made with another cute freebie from Create a Smile Stamps. You can find all the freebies here.
This one is a Christmas card and it’s my 5th card in 2015 Christmas Card Series. (oh, I do use the word “card” a lot 😀 )

With this card I want to participate in the November Guest Designer Call over at Create a Smile Stamps blog.
Also, I would love to participate in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

For coloring I used my Inktense Pencils, 3 Coloursoft Derwent pencils, Faber Castell Eco pencils and 1 Stabilo aquacolor.

I have a list with the colors (from dark to light):
Skin: Brown, Peach, Sand (Faber Castell)
Nose: C120, C200, C190 (Coloursoft Derwent)
Santa’s Costume: 1920 (Inktense), Blue Violet, Violet Red, Red (Faber Castell)
Shoes: 2200, 2120 (Inktense)
Santa’s Bag: 1730, 1740 (Inktense), 1600/615 (Stabilo Aquacolor)

For the background I used a stencil from ClearScrap and the white ink pad from Simon Says Stamp.
The sentiment is heat embossed using white embossing powder, as well as the white part on Santa’s costume.
Although you can’t really see it in the photos, I used a lot of Wink of Stella on this card 🙂 (on the snowflakes, on Santa’s beard and on Santa’s bag). Also, I’ve used some Stickles on The white portion of Santa’s costume and on his belt.
And on his big nose I’ve added Glossy Accents.
A couple of sequins, all this mounted on a pattern paper from My Mind’s Eye and my card is done 🙂 !

I hope you enjoyed my new card and that you’ll try and participate in the November Guest Designer Call. Maybe you’ll be the lucky one.
Okay, see you next time!
xoxo
